Login using your WTAMU Credentials (SSO)

At the top of your portal, you will see a snapshot of information about yourself, including:

• Your name
• Visa Type
• Student (BUFF) ID
• SEVIS ID Number
• Education Level - as it appears in SEVIS
• Campus Site
• Program Dates - as it appears in SEVIS and on your I-20
  • Remember: your I-20 can never expire
• SEVIS Status
• You can also add a profile picture if you wish

• Campus Resources
• International Request Portal

The first 3 tabs are for informational purposes only. The last tab is where you can view I-20 documents and make requests and updates with our office.

To navigate the tabs, simply click on each tab.

On this tab, you can find information on the following:

• F1 Student Visa basics
• Enrollment Requirement reminders
• Employment Regulations
• Travel reminders and requirements
• Reporting requirements

The first half of the second tab reviews employment regulations and reminders.

The second half of this tab has more information about you. This information reflects what is currently in your SEVIS record. If any of it is incorrect or outdated, you are required by federal law to update our office within 10 days of the change. This information includes:

• Personal Information
• Program Information
• Contact Information
• Dependent Information (if you have any)
• Other Information

Tab #3 has links to Campus Resources. If you aren't sure where to go, or you need help, this is where you can find that information.

This tab also has your financial information on it. It shows the finances that you were required to show for your I-20, and the finances that you actually showed for your I-20. If any significant changes happen to your funding or funding sources while you are a student, you should update our office.

Tab #4 is where you can view and take the following actions:

• View Submitted Requests
• View Completed Requests
• View and Download documents, such as I-20s, insurance information (if requested), etc.
• View Practical Training (CPT & OPT) Authorizations
• Make Requests

In this section, you can see the status of any requests that you have submitted that have not yet been approved.

Here are what the statuses mean:

• Draft: you have started a request but not submitted it. You need to go back into the request and submit it before we can process it
• Submitted: you have submitted your request. A DSO has not yet reviewed or processed it.
• Clarification Requested: we have reviewed your request but need additional information before we can move forward. You will receive an email update from us if we need clarification on your request
  • You can also go into the request and view our comments or notes at the top of the request on what we need from you to complete the request
• In Review: we have reviewed your request and are working on processing it. In this status, we may need additional information from other parties (not from you) and may be waiting to hear back from them. Or, we have seen the request and are working on processing it for you.

This next tab will have a history of all completed requests. These are requests that have been processed and approved.

If you see a status of Dismissed, we will always have a reason noted in that request. We will also notify you by email of the dismissal update and reason.

This is where you can download and print your documents. This includes:

• I-20s
• Insurance information (if requested)
• DSO SSN Letter
• Other documents

On this section, you will see any authorized practical trainings for CPT (internships) and/or OPT (post-completion work authorization).

Some reminders and why this part can be helpful:

• You cannot work before or after the dates listed for each CPT or OPT authorization
• If you work off-campus and the employer is not listed here, that is a violation of your visa status

The requests section is where you can make requests and update your information. You can always click on the request for more information about it. The top part will always include information on what it is, and the first part of the request will always either have additional information and/or the steps for multi-step processes.

Requests that you can make include:

• Apply for CPT (internships)
• Apply for OPT (post-completion work authorization)
• Change of Education Level
  • This is if you graduate from WT and will do a new degree program at WT (if you will complete a new degree program at another school, see Transfer-Out)
• Change of Major
• Concurrent Enrollment
  • If you will take classes at another school while attending WT
• Contact Information Update
  • To update your address, phone number, email, and more
• Document Uploader
  • If you receive a new passport, visa stamp, Change of Visa Status Approval Notice, or other immigration document, please be sure to upload it here
• F-1 Status Verification Letter
  • Most commonly needed or used when opening a bank account or applying for a driver's license.
• Financial Information Update
  • If you have significant changes to your source(s) of funding, please update us
• Leave of Absence/University Withdrawal
  • If you need to take a semester off or withdraw completely from WT, you must notify us
• OPT Employer Updated
  • If you have approved OPT and get an employer before you graduate
• Program Extension
  • If you need more time than the end date on your I-20, you must get a program extension
• Reduced Course Load Request
  • If you cannot take the required full course load due to final semester or documented medical condition
• Request Insurance Card
• Request Travel Signature
• Requesting Dependent/F-2 Visa -
  • If you wish to bring a dependent (spouse and/or child(ren))
• SSN Letter
  • If you obtain an on-campus job and do not already have an SSN
• Transfer-Out of WTAMU
  • If you will transfer to a different school, either to complete your degree or seeking a new degree after graduation, you are required to have your SEVIS record transferred to the new school

Go through the form, clicking "Next" to move to the next section. The software does not allow you to click around to the different sections of the request- you must use the Next and Previous buttons.

Be sure to click Submit to submit your request for processing. If you need to leave and come back, you can always Save as Draft and come back later to submit the form.

Please note: we will not process requests that are in draft status. Requests must be in submitted status for us to process them.

Check the Ongoing Requests section to ensure that the request is in Submitted status.

It will take the Office of Admissions - International approximately 5-8 business days to process your request or update. You will receive an email notification once the request has been processed.
